Shaping Young Minds, Building Bright Futures

Natumuse Academy provides a nurturing environment where primary students discover their potential and achieve academic excellence through the CBC curriculum.

Welcome to Natumuse Academy

Established in 2012, Natumuse Academy has been a cornerstone of primary education excellence in our community. This school was established as a community school by the locals community of Kilimamawe village and its envrons. Later on, the name of the village changed to Natumuse following the remarkable landmark achievements of the academy.NATUMUSE is a Maasai word which means "Awakening". The Maasai community for a long time did not embrace formal education and with this primary reason, the school was established to address three major setbacks with regard to formal education: 1)Girl child right to education. 2)Poverty as an hinderance to formal education while at the same time supporting the fight against FGM. 3)Awareness creation as a major tool in education for all school going age children. With this three major reasons in mind, Natumuse Junior Academy was officially born in 2012. The school was lucky enough to get well wishers who supported school fees in different areas namely: 1)Heart of Love World Wide- supported school fees for a various number of children upto secondary level. 2) Terres de Couleres- supported girl child school fees. 3) Breizh solidarity Maasai- supported water provision to the school. But unfortunately at the moment, sponsorship for item 1 and 2 above have halted their support for the school until further notice. All over the years, the school has grown into major spectacle of ducation in the village now registering upto Grade 7. With support from different players, the school intends to grow into greater heights. We believe in nurturing each child's unique talents while building strong character foundations through the Competency-Based Curriculum.

Our dedicated faculty and child-friendly facilities create an environment where young learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We focus on holistic development that prepares students for the next stage of their educational journey.
